Why we breed for genetic diversity
Why we breed for Genetic Diversity

Here’s a new study published in June 2023 by the journal EMBARK Veterinary, and the Doberman Diversity Project.

The conclusion says...

“The 100% European lines are the highest risk for short life and die sooner because they are so inbred and inbred on sick lines that carry DCM and it's being used in both sides of the pedigree, this article clearly articulates that, breeders need to be "hybridizing-mixing" American, European working and show and HOBBY LINES to add genetic diversity and longevity back into the lines and doing so is how we can add life and longevity back to our lines…”
